Helping Hands works through a very simple yet effective patent pending method. The user slides a bead over their needle and then slides their needle and bead into Helping Hands creating two adjustable ball joints that hold the users needles whilst allowing for complete dexterity. Learn more.

Helping Hands is for knitters who want to enjoy their hobby and create results themselves without the use of a machine. Helping Hands is ideal for the retired knitter coming back, the experienced knitter needing rest and support for painful joints or the young knitter learning. Helping Hands could be suitable for you, a relative or a friend.
3. Will it work for me?
Helping Hands can aid any knitter. Every knitter has their own style and their own technique, Helping Hands aids you to knit with either no style adaptation or very little. It is still you, the knitter who is in control. It is still you who is hand knitting.

6. Can I have different colours?
Yes you can, additional Helping Hands easy slip on fabric covers will be available with an expected release date of Autumn 2008. Helping Hands at present is available in a warm grey. Helping Hand pads are easily removable meaning that with the expected release of future pads such as microwavable heat pads, silicone and memory foam you will not have to buy a new Helping Hands set.
7. Will I need new needles?
Helping Hands comes complete with a set of eight beads allowing you to knit with four pairs of your existing needles 3.25, 4, 5 and 6mm. Helping Hand Beads are injection moulded and accurate to within 0.2mm so depending on how accurate your needles are there shouldn’t be any need to buy new needles*. Additional beads for a wider variety of needle sizes are expected for release Autumn 2008.
*heartdesign Limited will not be responsible if the need to purchase new needles arises.
8. How long does delivery take?

10. What is your returns policy?
Your Helping Hands Knitting Aid comes with a 12 month product quality guarantee from the date of order for part faults beyond normal wear and tear. Purchases are non-refundable unless due to product or part fault caused by heartdesign Limited. All faulty parts will be repaired or replaced free of charge within this 12 month period.
Helping Hands is not a knitting machine, it is not designed to knit for you. It is ultimately down to you the knitter to accomplish your knitting. Helping Hands is designed to aid, give support and hold your needles. Undoubtedly at first Helping Hands will feel different and unusual, it is up to the user and the users approach to using Helping Hands whether or not it will work.
heartdesign Limited will not issue refunds if the user deems that Helping Hands does not work for him/her. As stated Helping Hands is not a machine, it is an aid that will hold your needles, you who must complete the stitches
11. How do I become a stockist?
To become an official stockist you must create a Retailer account, this can be done on our website, by telephone or by post.
