3. Does it actually work?
More than two years of research, development and user testing have led to the now available Helping Hands knitting Aid. During this time it has been short listed and won numerous awards including the North England Arthritis Care Jubilee Award. Helping Hands was launched at the Alexandra Palace Knitting and Stitching Show 2007 where anybody and everybody had the opportunity to sit down and stitch. The positive response from the public and knitting magazines was overwhelming.

4. Why use a Knitting Aid?
Hand knitting in its traditional form is for some people who suffer with aches and pains very difficult. It doesn’t mean that they want to stop knitting though, or even begin to machine knit. One of the main attractions of hand knitting is its therapeutic benefits, a quality which is often lost when machine knitting. Helping Hands allows the user to knit in their traditional much loved hand knitting style which little or no style adaptation. It is still the user knitting, it is still the user creating the results but with that added extra ‘Helping Hand’.

6. Is there a minimum order quantity?
Yes, we have a minimum order of five Helping Hands.

7. Are there benefits for larger orders?
Order ten or more Helping Hands in a single order and you will receive clear acrylic literature and product display stands plus free 140x120px advertising space on our websites for 12 months. Don’t have a web banner? Our web designers at heartdesign Limited can create a custom advert for just £12.95. To include this option tick the “Create Custom Web Banner” box when placing your order.

8. Is there discount for larger orders?
Yes, we offer discount on single orders of 25 or more Helping Hands. Please contact us for further information.

9. Can I have different colours like in the photographs?
Yes you can, additional Helping Hands easy slip on fabric covers will be available with an expected release date of Autumn 2008. Helping Hands at present is available in a warm grey moulded foam. The pads on Helping Hands are easily removable meaning that with the expected release of future pads such as microwavable heat pads, silicone and memory foam you will be able to stock Helping Hand Knitting Aid extras.

Although our Intellectual Property rights extend worldwide we are not actively seeking to distribute outside of the UK. We do however welcome all enquiries and offers on the subject of stocking abroad.
